Today, every year on the 4th of April, is World Stray Animals Day. On this day we pay extra attention to the many stray animals in the world. Stray animals do often lead a poor and miserable life on the street. They suffer from extreme heat or cold and suffer from diseases. Even more often, they are being chased around by hostile and violent people or get involved in hit and run cases. On this day you can show your compassion to strays, take care and get into action for stray animals all over our planet!

Elie, meine Patenhündin, hat schon eine schöne wärmende Kuscheldecke bekommen!

Ein sehr bewegendes Jahr geht zur Ende. Für uns alle nicht einfach. Jeder hat auf seiner eigenen Art und Weise zu „kämpfen“ gehabt mit 2020. Für mich persönlich war es kein einfaches Jahr. Ich habe geliebte Personen verloren. Ich müsste mein Vater gehen lassen, mein Patenkind in Nepal sowie einen Onkel. Alles nicht einfach. Es zeigt mir immer wieder wie fragil das alles ist und wie wichtig unsere Gesundheit ist. Für uns mit unserem Gesundheitssystem alles etwas besser und einfacher, in Nepal ist das Gesundheitssystem auf jeden Fall eine ganz andere Nummer.
