Elie at Sneha Care in Nepal
In this blog I would like to share my personal highlight during the difficult we all live in at this moment. I am working in home office for about 7 weeks now, in Germany we have a partial lockdown, I am not going out for weeks and despite these restrictions and the ups and downs which come and go, I had a beautiful highlight this week, which gives me energy and power for the upcoming time to go on.
Street dogs of Kathmandu
As many of you know, my heart belongs to the street dogs of Kathmandu. Last week (when having some more time to do things which I wanted to do for a long time) I found a lovely dog at the website of Sneha Care. Seeing her, I could not forget her, she launched into my heart and in my mind and I decided to sponsor her. Her name is Elie, she is the sunshine I need these days. She is a three-legged dog with trust in life, happy, kind, open minded, playful.

Of course I had to share this beautiful news! My sister in law is the right person for that and guess what? A few days later she wanted to share some good news with me! She also fell in love with a three-legged dog, her name is Nunca, which means “no way”, no way for giving up! A good reminder for the time we are in. I was so happy hearing she takes the sponsorship of Nunca. In one week, two dogs found a sponsor. These kinds of things give me hope, energy and the power to go on. And that is what I want to share with you. Sharing happiness is double happiness!
